This decision was taken based on RBH's experience and track record in key markets, particularly in London, as well, as their brand relationships, capital skill set and revenue management experience. During RBH's period of operating the portfolio, they implemented a plan which resulted in an increase in revenue of 3.5%, an increase in EBITDA in cash terms of 20.3% and a EBITDA margin increase of 5.0 bps.
Their operational structure is extremely well established. Their senior team is headed up by established industry executives who have a wealth of international experience and are highly regarded in the leisure and hospitality industry. It is a great pleasure working with RBH and we wholly endorse any planned expansion in the management and development of further IHG branded properties.
