DoubleTree by Hilton Oxford Belfry welcomes guests to experience Hilton’s renowned service
The beautiful countryside of Oxfordshire welcomed its first DoubleTree by Hilton property today, one of Hilton’s 15 market-leading brands. DoubleTree by Hilton Oxford Belfry – operated by RBH – is the latest addition to Hilton’s growing portfolio, which has an existing 51 DoubleTree by Hilton hotels in the U.K. and a further eight properties under construction.
The hotel is ideally located amid the lush countryside of Oxfordshire, but has the convenience of being a short drive away from the city. Travelers can immerse in Oxford’s rich history with a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site Blenheim Palace or take a trip to the world’s second oldest University – the University of Oxford. Guests can also enjoy an array of nearby activities, including motor racing at Silverstone Circuit for thrill seekers, whilst families and nature lovers can enjoy Cotswold Wildlife Park, which has more than 260 different animals. Biecster Village – one of the biggest discounted designer shopping outlets – is also within close proximity.
ROOMS AND AMENITIES
After receiving a signature, warm DoubleTree Cookie welcome upon arrival, guests can cosy up in one of the hotel’s 154 guestrooms, including upgraded rooms and suites with separate lounges – some featuring countryside views. The brand-new refurbished rooms feature modern furnishing and amenities, such as complimentary WiFi, tea/coffee making facilities and laptop-sized safe.
Guests can take advantage of the fitness centre, indoor pool, sauna, steam room and onsite tennis courts to re-energise. For those looking to replenish after a day exploring the city, eight spa treatment rooms are available offering a full range of ESPA treatments, including signature rituals, facials and massages – among others.
MEETINGS & EVENTS
DoubleTree by Hilton Oxford Belfry offers 1050m2 of contemporary meeting space. There are 18 individual meeting and event suites to choose from, with the largest room holding up to 450 guests or delegates, while the smallest room is ideal for interviews and board meetings. State-of-the-art AV equipment is also available, including plasma screens in all training rooms.
Guests can start their day with a traditional English breakfast in the Spires Restaurant, Lounge and Bar. For dinner, guests can experience British cuisine with a modern twist, including cumin and coriander rubbed lamb cutlets with pumpkin and lentil dahl, or torched West Country mackerel with spinach and board bean gnocchi. Light lunches, snacks and beverages are available all day in the lounge and bar for those looking for a more relaxed dining experience. 24-hour room service is also available.
