"The hotel sits in a prime location for both business and leisure travellers, with great access and links to Gatwick Airport, central London and Sussex.

"We will bring our wealth of experience in running airport hotels at Heathrow, Glasgow and Manchester to bear, ensuring all of our guests have a fantastic experience when they come to stay at Gatwick.

Stewart Campbell, RBH' Managing Director, added: "It is great to continue the growth of our UK hotel portfolio and to add a new brand in Hampton by Hilton. This will see us build on our already strong relationship with Hilton and ensure this hotel is an excellent investment for the new owner."
