New hotel lands at Luton Airport

Courtyard by Marriott Luton Airport has opened its doors this month, having been built using a state-of-the-art modular build process – which saw rooms built at owner Polcom’s factory in Gdansk before being transported to the UK ready for construction.

Situated a few minutes’ walk from Luton Airport’s departures and arrivals halls, the 250-bed hotel with all-day dining bistro, bar, gym and sophisticated meeting rooms, is sure to be a first-class hit with guests.

Each of the meeting rooms, which celebrate Luton’s industrial heritage, pay homage to Luton’s historical links with the hat-making industry with names like Bowler, Boater and Trilby. Media pods are also available for informal meetings of up to four people – ideal for business travellers.

The overall hotel design is brought to life through refreshed interiors featuring contemporary and efficient design that mixes a natural colour palette with yellow and blue accents to create a casual yet vibrant atmosphere.

Mohammed Azam, General Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Luton Airport, said:

We’re situated in a prime location that will be ideal for holiday makers, leisure and business travellers – we can’t wait to welcome guests to our brand new hotel.

Helder Pereira, CEO of RBH, said:

This hotel is our portfolio’s third Courtyard by Marriott, and our first in Luton. We’re proud to bring our expertise to the town’s newest hotel, which is our third opening in partnership with Polcom. We look forward to developing this relationship further as part of our long-term growth strategy.
