A new General Manager has been appointed to lead the team at The Bedford Swan Hotel.

Malcolm Wyse, who has more than 18 years' experience in the hotel industry, has taken up the post to lead the 120-strong team.

He will look after the picturesque 113-bed, 18th century spa hotel, which overlooks the Great Ouse River in Bedford town centre.

Malcolm, who worked in engineering before moving into the hospitality industry, boasts an impressive CV having worked in boutique hotels including Reads Hotel & Spa in Mallorca.

During his time at Reads, the hotel became a Relais & Châteaux member, while its restaurant earned a coveted Michelin Star. His most recent role was General Manager of Tuddenham Mill in Suffolk.
