A group of 10 UK hotels have launched special Groom Academy packages to help transform the most undomesticated men into perfect husbands-to-be.

Managed by RBH, the UK's largest hotel management company, the hotels are offering bespoke packages including a number of practical tutorials to help husbands hone their skills and keep their other halves happy throughout married life.

Groom Academy students will be taught a range of skills*, including essential housekeeping, cocktail-making and cooking by the hotels' skilled staff.

Grooms who are married at the hotels will also receive a reminder text on their first anniversary to ensure they don't forget to mark the special day.

The hotels taking part are: Rosslea Hall Hotel and DoubleTree by Edinburgh in Scotland; Holiday Inn Cardiff City in Wales; and, across England, BEST WESTERN PLUS Epping Forest, Crowne Plaza Birmingham NEC, The Worcester Whitehouse Hotel and Holiday Inn properties in Bristol-Filton, London - Bloomsbury, London Brentford Lock and London Regents Park.

Yvonne Brennan, group marketing manager for RBH, said: "So many of our hotels pride themselves on hosting lavish, romantic wedding days that create truly special memories for brides and grooms as they celebrate the start of their lives together.

"However, they also recognise that there are lots of other factors that help make a happy marriage last. That's why we've launched exclusive Groom Academy packages across a select number of properties, to transform clueless men into perfect husbands who know how to keep the romance alive.

"From cocktail and cooking classes to bed-making, hotel staff will help men spoil their future wives."
